Screencaps:

Review: Even though I watched it twice, The Woodland Haunting 2 doesn't make any sense. It's a spoof of mockumentary ghosthunter movies with lots of "meta" clichés and dated pop culture references, but it isn't a good one.

The camerawork is horrible, the acting is non-existent, the storytelling is confusing, and it just sucks on every level. There aren't even any pretty girls in it who take their clothes off gratuitously.

If you are into watching lots of still images, bad green screen effects, and the director's collection of wigs, you might get something out of this movie, but even then it's doubtful. With UFOs flying across title cards and a bigfoot-hunter subplot which goes nowhere, this makes Ed Wood look competent.

It's not worth going into any depth about The Woodland Haunting 2 because it's just something to take a quick look at and then skip. None of the threads of the story tie together because it was obviously made up as they went along. The house it was filmed in is quite nice though.

Most Memorable Moment(s): The bad camerawork and weird angles throughout.

Originality: None.

Best Line(s): "Sometimes my friends are about as helpful as genital warts."
Worst Line(s): "Larry is so unbelieving in things."

Best Effect(s): The ghost girl.

Final Thoughts: Some of the lines are witty, but they are delivered poorly and aren't funny.
